Congrats to MA in History Graduates!

From the Desk of Graduate Coordinator Dr. Sace Elder:

The MA Program in History is proud to announce that Tyler Calvert, Andrea Morgan, and Stephen Szigethy recently completed their comprehensive examinations.

Tyler, who concentrated in modern world history, recently presented a paper he wrote for Dr. Lee on the Tokyo War Tribunal, for which he was awarded a travel grant from the Interdisciplinary Center for Global Diversity at EIU.

Stephen Szigethy deserves high praise for completing his degree while working full time for the EIU police department. He pursued his MA concentration in modern world history for more than five years and finishes just two months before becoming a father for the first time!

And Andrea Morgan passed her comprehensive examinations in US history with “distinction,” which she can proudly announce to her students at Westville High School, and she will soon put her degree to work teaching dual credit courses in US history.
